My doc was Russell Means. I found him to be caring, helpful, and resourceful. My reason was a shoulder dislocation. My first.. I walked in and found folks interested in my well being and comfort. The first attempt to reconnect was not successful. Doc Means continued to find ways to help me until, between the two of us, my humerus was reconnected. The pain was immediately relieved. Thx to the community for having this facility close by to help me

Dr. Sean McAlister was very professional and caring. I fractured my sacrum and worried about what kind of care I would receive. I couldn''t of received better care on the mainland. He even called the next day to check up on me. Outstanding Doctor!

I had the pleasure of visiting Mahelona''s ER one night at 2am during my vacation in Princeville for abdominal pain. The staff there were very caring and attentive. Dr David Horn was on duty and thoroughly examined me and conducted tests that he could with the resources they had there. He ruled out many possibilities and prescribed medications to help with the discomfort based on his findings. He advised me if the pain returned that I should go to Willcox hospital for a CAT scan which Mahelona did not have. I did end up the next day at Willcox for a CAT scan and found out I was passing a kidney stone. Dr Horn called me the morning after seeing him and 2 days later to follow up since he was thinking of me. I greatly appreciated his concern and guidance with my issue. A big thank you to Dr Horn and the ER staff at Mahelona for their support and efforts.
