I appreciate the nurses and the people who work for Booker T Washington Nursing Home. They have been so nice to me. They have helped me come a long way. When I got here I couldn''t walk now I can. I just need to get my strength back. They have been a blessing to me. All I have to do is be free of COVID and I can go home. Thanks to the staff, administrator, nurses and social worker. They even allowed a pastor to come see me when I wanted to give up. I will keep on living.

My dad died September 23, 2018. He was a resident at this facility where he was found unresponsive. For how long I do not know. All I do know is that by the time I got to Shreveport, La Highland Hospital he lost 99.9 percent of his brain function. With the only answers I could get from the hospital was (He coded 2-3 times on the way there from the rehabilitation home and they did not know how long he was without oxygen before someone found him) which lead ME to the rehabilitation after I established myself as his next of kin (via birth certificate). I was notified that All his belongings was gone! But no intel on my father! (By the time I got back to the Hospital We had to make a decision to release him because of ''multiple'' organ failures). I''ve reached out to this rehabilitation home for my father''s file, medical documents, personal property if any??? But no response.
