The staff was friendly and helpful in assisting me in visiting my friend who is in residence for rehab therapy. My friend described that the therapy she is getting is very helpful in giving her confidence that she will be home very soon.

If you care about the person you are looking for a transitional care location for do NOT send them to the Rose of Sharon Transitional care. I received a phone call from the ER doctor at Regions hospital asking me if I knew that my husband was in the hospital. I did not because no one from Rose of Sharon bothered to call and let me know that he was so ill that he had to be taken by ambulance to the emergency room. I wasn''t called until the next day asking if I wanted to hold his room. I gave them a resounding NO. The Social worker, Ruth, is completely inept. Do not expect any help with Medicare from her because she does not know what she is doing. In addition to all of this, my husband could wait up to a half hour for help after putting on his call light, to say the food isn''t good is an understatement. You will have to guess what kind of meat you are eating and don''t send any good clothes because you will probably not be going home with all of them. Please look for any other location for your loved one other than the Rose of Sharon
