There is no choice of giving less than a star. I stayed the first night in the assisted living home. They put a mattress on the floor in a shared room with a poor woman who needed a nursing home She was drenched in urine and had lost her mind, she could not dress or shower. Breakfast was a moldy bagel plain white rice and a wedge of a nasty orange. Coffee with one packet of sugar. You cannot have more or even butter. I was moved to a unassisted home that day. This happened during the covid beginning and my money was froze so this was where I was stuck till I got my funds. I am forty something so I was in shock by this place. The next home they run had a dementia patient who has a little dog who urinated and pooped on the floor. This was on purpose as she believed it had allergies to the grass. This same woman physically attacked me because she didn't like the fridge being out of her order. She grabbed my hair and threw me down. She also cooked with 3 burners on but only used 2. She said that is how the oven gets heated. The oven would also be on No smoke detector in the kitchen. She would take things and hide them like food. Then say she didn't but really she didn't remember. She even his the only phone this place has in the grill outside. We found it because it was ringing. She fed her dog on the couch pillows each day. The couch was filthy. She showered one time in a month. It was horrible. And no one cleans that home. When my money situation was fixed by my family member I paid Sharon Williams $1800 in cash from the atm. I have a receipt. But come to find out she filed for payee a month after I was gone. She got 2 checks that she says she sent back. She also did not let my family know she did this. Those checks have yet to make it to me. I couldn't get a towel bar of soap or toothbrush from these people. Daily they brought bags of chicken patties from nearby missions. Free food all while getting paid from each person there. Moldy milk, molded frozen food. Things she had donated to her. The allotment for each person by law is $30. The stimulus checks were not given to the patients. Half of them didn't know about them. The bill I did get for being there was to include driving me to the Dr and co-pays which my insurance pays for. She even had me clean the first house I stayed in to compensate for gas money and co-pays. Which is beyond illegal and the place needs more than bleach. Unfortunately due to covid I was stuck in between states without a way to get home. But what I learned by staying at a place like that is you should never throw your family away and believe someone that they are ok without actually staying there. Yes they are fed, how do you like rice for breakfast? Those people are driving a Mercedes Benz Van and taking cash from people who don't know any better and no one is thinking for them. That lady with dementia we had to take the knives away but they did not move her to a supervised home. She has no family. No one but these people to make her decisions and it's based off of money. She happens to bring in a lot more as she gets her husband's benefits too. Of course they don't want to move her, if she speaks up she may go somewhere nicer where she gets a shower even.
