This my review of regency village. My mother in law was sent her for physical therapy after surgery from broken hip. They have 1 nurse to cover 12 beds and 2 aides, my mother in law also has dementia and vascular heart disease, she has been here for 5 days, her attending physician refused to give her heart med and iv saline, she is so dehydrated they can''t draw blood. The administration Joe mills and Brent Walsh are the most untrustworthy employees i have ever come across in 30 yrs working with JACHO. And OCHA any numerous hospitals in the Texas and Colorado. The attending physician never physically saw the patient, but refuses to discharge her. Said it would have to be AMA, which means her insurance will deny all bills and future treatment. They had the gall to laugh when we threatened to file complaints. We now have attorney and ombudsman and DADS involved. The state ombudsman said this is very disturbing and is filing complaint today. When he saw her she was hysterical begging us to get her out. If u love ur love one, do not send them here. The staff is overworked and making mistakes that could cause harm to patients and Joe and Brent DO NOT CARE, truly despicable people, I will do my best to get their license stripped, so know one else has to go through this. This is my review...update patient was removed to hospital, she has pneumonia, uti,and because she wasn''t given her heart meds she has fluid around her heart, if we wouldn''t of gotten her out, per the state ombudsman he thought she would die. Texas attorney General is involved also Lone Star Legal, still have heard nothing from management Joe and Brent. They DON''T CARE!!, once again I and my contacts will do whatever we have to do to get these despicable people removed from this facility or close the facility completely, so NO ONE!!!, goes through this again. This is my review......

Husband was there a week for rehab and said it was like purgatory. Didn''t give him a bath or teach him to use transfer bench to bathe. Noisy and staff too busy to help. As someone else stated, they were great when I was there in person but once I left...

This place changed management and is now corporate. If you love your family member don’t put them here. They are nice to me but once I left they ignored my bedridden sister.

They don''t care about the patients. The front office staff are rude. The owner doesn''t seem to care.
