Definitely not like the hospital The call button for the nurse doesn''t mean squat after 7:00 p.m. I have went anywhere from 2 to 5 hours asking and waiting for pain medication for someone in pain and have someone to wait that long not good at all so all I can tell you is good luck the only reason I''m still here is cuz they have a good rehabilitation program no this only happens with one nurse and one aid rest of them are pretty much on the ball but for someone that just come out of spine surgery it''s in humane to make them wait three to five hours for pain.medicine just because the nurse is too lazy to give it out I sure wanted the executives of Pruitt health to read my review then make some changes here because this review and many more will come . We love Lakehaven Nursing Home. My Mother has been there for about 7 months and has really been taken care of well. The staff is very pleasant. When we have a concern it is usually taken care of quickly. There have been a few times that some of the Dr.s orders haven’t gotten to the correct place or haven’t been followed , but they are working on that and we are anticipating good results. As with all Nursing Home’s they are understaffed which makes it a little hard on the residents, but it is even more difficult on those staff that are working. They have way too many residents to be responsible for. They need more qualified help. But we do understand that this is not Lakehaven’s fault. It is really hard to get good people to work right now. Even though those who are working, for the most part, they have really great attitudes towards the patients. Even though they are overworked. We Love Lakehaven.

I believe it needs more Staff members to be able to adequately assist the residents. But I am satisfied with the service. Until 11/11 M/21 I felt ok with the service but I really want to know why this home is not taking better care of the patients as expected? The State should visit these establishments without notice to see what''s really going on. To me they are only intrested in the money rather than the older people in the home or they are hiring anyone to half way work or better yet not work as they are hired to do. The place is really too small and the Tennant''s are overcrowded. After visiting another home, I realize that Lake Haven is not the place for my family and I would be happy to talk to someone who genuinely cares. Thanks!!

These incompetent nurses called a freaking private EMS service that response time was 30 minutes. When there is a 911 service less than 3 minutes away!!!! REALLY??? There’s a big difference in nurses that work in nursing homes and nurses that work in ER’s and hospital wards. These nurses couldn’t cut it in a hospital environment and would be eaten alive by them at SGMC. The aides are just as bad. They lie to the patients and treat them like dirt. This place really needs to be investigated by the state!!

I could hear my daughter well and she could hear me well. I Truly Thank God for the people who took the time to set it up. It was amazing. Also since Covid is on the rise I can''t visit my daughter at Pruitt, so I was in Valdosta one day and I called to see if I could bring her children to see her through the window. They said yes. By the time we got there they had her set up at the window where they could see and talk to each other. Thanks PruittHealth and the Workers
