I went for a visit once, and discovered they use isolation techniques and put people in locked rooms, and called the LTCO about it. I have to say though, my family member is doing extremely well in this facility, and the interaction with staff has been very good. I havenʻt been able to visit because of COVID19, but will make my first visit in nearly a year and a half soon. When I was there, I witnessed the food served and it looks good quality. I wish they had the resources to be able to go out. My sister has been in this closed facility for a year and a half now and the outdoors is inside a caged enclosure, no access to nature. My sibling has been in a lot of different facilities, and this is the most stable she has been, which to me, says a lot for the quality of care. I am really grateful for this safe space.
Read moreThis place is horrible! Some of the staff who do observations are unstable themselves. I was not a patient but as a mental health professional myself, I visited a friend and could see the poor conditions of that facility. Please do not allow your loved ones to be taken there.
