Pacifica Senior Living Merced is a lovely facility. It is the best that we have been able to find for my husband and we feel comfortable with him there. It's an older facility, but it's classy, and beautifully kept and decorated. The staff is wonderful. They have a variety of activities. They have movies and bingo games. They take field trips. They go for walks. They have coffee and newspaper time. They have an activity printed monthly for the whole month of daily activities. Taylor is the director and she's excellent. They have a wide selection of food and my husband says it is quite good.

It was clean. The person who gave me the tour showed me several options of the different rooms that my father could be in. They have a family room, and dining room, and there were a few reading areas. Activities were going on, and they have a hair salon. That's where I would want my father to live if they had the appropriate care for him.

My mother-in-law looks very happy at Pacifica Senior Living Merced. She is making friends there. The manager is very helpful. My mother-in-law's room is nice, but it's small. She also looks happy with the meal, and she's very, very picky. The dining area is nice and clean. They have puzzles, they have bingo night, and they have pajama party. I think they have so much fun that my nine-year-old wants to live there. The facilities look good and nice.
