My father is a resident here and I was definitely concerned about it, as he was a resident at another nursing home that was absolutely horrendous. I am very happy to know that he tells me that he likes it here. Vanessa at the front check in desk is a beautiful soul. She is always friendly and loves giving my dad hugs. The faculty took all precautions during the pandemic and still require masks. My dad''s nurses are compassionate and Keisha is top notch. My mom is a very important asset in my dad''s care as well, following up with the nurses and bringing any concerns to the staff immediately. My dad said he enjoys his meals, for the most part. Any issues with the food temperature is resolved. If it''s something he doesn''t like, they bring him something else and if he''s really hungry, they''ve offered him extras. He has several patient care techs that he adores, especially the ones that bath him. They take the time to shave him and make him feel brand new. He also loves the PT that come by and take him for walks. My dad is in a wheelchair and likes the freedom to roll around and talk to people. Occasionally, they have events for the residents, depending on covid protocol. They have a shuttle to get him to outside Dr. Appointment and the driver is very sweet. My advice in any medical /nursing situation is to always be alert. If you aren''t happy with something, say something. Sometimes, my father doesn''t speak up or forgets, but my mom and I make sure his needs are meet. Visit as often as possible, sporadically. Ask your loved one if they have any issues. Bring them things of comfort and to pass time. Enjoy going outside if it''s not hot. Bring them a special treat. It''s the little things. Be proactive and realize, that these nurses and staff are stressed and stretched thin, due to understaffibg and the pandemic. Work with them and they will work with you. My mom and Keisha are always in contact. It''s comforting to know she''s looking out for my dad. No place is going to be perfect unless you''re a millionaire and can afford it. I appreciate everyone that has loved my dad and treats him with respect and dignity, because I know what he''s gone through in the past and I will never allow anyone to treat him less than the best. Thank you.

My elderly mom had a good experience here. i know everyone''s needs are different. But, coming out of the hospital due to covid, my mom was here for about 3 weeks. The staff was responsive, accommodating of my mom (she can be a handful, especially due to some mental health issues), and efficient at check-in, discharge, and with adhering to covid 19 safety precautions throughout my mom''s stay. The discharge nurse was knowledgable of my mom''s case and took time to go through her condition and needed follow up/medications, etc., in a very thorough manner. The PT/OT services were good. Pushed mom, but also were patient with her. Mom made good progress in her recovery and was able to be discharged home on time. Her blood sugar got abnormally high for some of her time there, so i think the meal planning was not as precise as it could have been. But she was put on insulin, then weaned off as her diet and blood glucose levels improved. We have been to many facilities over the years and feel this was a good experience and place for mom, considering her specific needs this time around.
