My experience has been very good. We moved in 2 months ago. The common areas are always clean, and the rooms are cleaned weekly. The staff members are great, very friendly and helpful. The quality of care has been very good. The meals are good - the main menu is good and alternatives are offered daily. We have been pleased. When it comes to the activities, we haven't had much time to get involved yet. Still settling in so not sure about the value for cost but it seems to be a good cost. We would recommend Overland Park Place to other families.

There are some who decide otherwise after moving in but they either get moved to something they're more happy about or just stay. Amenities are more than sufficient for me as I couldn't attend all of the activities if I wanted to, and the other amenities are plenty bountiful. When I moved into my place, after a day or two I discovered that one of the two A/C units wasn't cooling the room and it sounded noisy. After contacting maintenance, it was almost immediately replaced with a brand new one.

Overland Park Place had a reasonable price and good food. My loved one moved in last December and is doing well there. The staff communication with the family is good. My loved one really enjoys the meals offered. There are three meals a day and there are choices for the residents to choose from....
