I once called Oakview home. I''ve worked there almost 3 years in total starting in the kitchen and then becoming Activities Assistant to most recently being the Activities Director for the last year until being fired yesterday without any notice or realistic reason. My experience was great in the beginning. Family oriented, genuine care for residents and staff, but the last year has been a complete 360. From staff who was there for years leaving due to the new management, to management being in "meetings" all day not wanting to help other staff. The one good thing i can say about the management is that they answer emails really fast because thats literally all they do is sit at their desk with the door closed and read emails. Oakview has some great potential and I hope it could get back to what it once was. If you want to be mistreated, talked down upon , have no guidance whatsoever, then Oakview is the place for you. As for the residents I pray for them daily as long as they are still under the current management.
Read moreOakview is overall a great facility to work for! I love the residents and the staff is wonderful. The administrator is so genuine and truly cares for staff and residents which really does make a difference when working for a company. I see a great future for Oakview!

I have become very close with the Quality of Life Director, Bre. She has included me and many other residents in the planning of the activities, always makes sure to have a smile on her face while making us smile, and always keeps us busy. I would definitely recommend Oakview to anyone!

If I could give no stars I would! This place is dirty and the staff is extremely rude and disrespectful. My father was there for no more then 24 hours and had only 1 sweet tea the entire time, they left him to lay in bed for an hour while pushing the call button before helping him and then on top of that and countless other things they refused to acknowledge their wrong doings and continued to call my father a liar. I would strongly recommend using a different facility if you love and care about the well being of your family,friends,etc.
