I've toured Oakmont of Lodi. It was a very, very nice facility. It's brand new. It's only a couple of years old. It's very nice and fresh. They have shared rooms and they have individual rooms, and they have assisted and independent care in the same facility. They have a social area where people were playing cards and games. I really only met the marketing person, and she was fine.

I moved my uncle about 8 mo ago to Oakmont of Lodi. It is the best decision he made. He was so hesitant and feeling worried and stressed but the staff really won him over their cheerful personalities and willingness to go above and beyond won my family and Uncle over. He was recovering from a broken femur and really needed a lot of care. I can't believe difference it has made for my uncle the care he received is unparalleled we are so impressed.

My wife has moved into Oakmont of Lodi. To start with, it was terrible, but it's getting better. They gave her the wrong meds and it screwed her up. It's been pretty good since then. Interaction with the staff so far has been pretty good. Her room is pretty nice. It's two rooms. She is in A and the other lady is in B. It's all one big room, but it's separated by closets and a bathroom. She's in memory care. The activities are pretty good. They have music and exercises and she started participating in that. The meals looked pretty good. It's a little expensive, but they all are.

Oakmont of Lodi is the best match for my father. He likes being outside and they had a large outdoor area in the memory care that he could go to and that he could utilize. They don't have a washer and dryer in the apartments in memory care. They don't have any appliances at all in memory care. They do their laundry for them. The dining area was great and the food choices looked good. The staff was very friendly and informative. They showed us around and it was during dinner, so we saw the food, but we didn't try it. We looked at a private room and a shared room, and they were both pretty spacious. I saw the pool. In memory care, they just have a little patio they can walk out on.

They have different games for the residents, like puzzles, karaoke, a lot of musicals, and some kind of driving game. They have a pool and hot tub. There seem to be a lot of turnovers, so it's somebody different all the time. The only thing is probably just the number of staff they have, and they're not super communicative. I have to hunt somebody down to ask something.
