My Dad is 86 w/dementia and was recovering from having a pacemaker put in and was only there temporarily when Carrie Lancaster had him sign a form to have his SS check rerouted into the nursing home account. Meanwhile he went home and had no money for bills or groceries. I don''t recommend any place that takes an elderly person''s means of living knowing their stay is temporary.

I really thought they would help me. I was having a hard time with my ostomy bag it had been suggested for me to try a nursing home. everything seemed great at first then I started feeling bad, they didn''t believe me and basically called me a lair, and when I asked if they would call 911 for me they said they could not and I had to do it myself. turns out I was very sick I was dehydrated, and needed 3 units of blood also was transported to Abilene for dialysis. I was later told I it was amazing I didn''t have a heart attack and die. but hey I wasn''t running a fever.

My mother-in-law lived at Oak Ridge for only a couple of months before her passing, but in those short months we saw what a wonderful home Oak Ridge is for older adults. Oak Ridge has kind and caring staff and is a VERY clean facility. The care team paid excellent attention to my mother-in-law and during her stay there we felt she was safe and was as comfortable as she could possibly be. We are grateful for Oak Ridge Manor.

My Family and I have been very impressed with the assistance we received when moving my uncle and dad into Oakridge. The facility is super clean- The housekeeping department works hard to keep it that way. I also cannot say enough good things about the dietary program they have. The entire staff have been amazing, but especially Elizabeth Steward. She has gone above and beyond for them. I highly recommend Oakridge Manor for Rehabilitation or a longer stay.

Elizabeth Steward, the admissions director at Oak Ridge, made the transition from the hospital for physical therapy an easy and understandable process. There are a lot of papers and things to go over with the admission to the facility, especially with the covid protocols, but Elizabeth made it a very seamless process. She took the time to explain everything on every page in simple, easy to understand terms which was very much appreciated. All staff I have been in contact with have been attentive and helpful with regard to any questions that have arisen. Even got a call from personal assistant to company president to ensure all my questions and concerns had been addressed. She also encouraged me t call the administrator or even herself if there were ever and questions or concerns in the future. The willingness to be open and attentive to questions and concerns reinforces the decision we made to have mom do her physical therapy in Oak Ridge.
