Our first impressions. When we got a tour of Oak point, it must have been laundry day because the memory unit smelled like urine when we walked in This was a turnoff. . The caregiver in the memory care unit looked very sloppy. She was wearing a huge baggy sweatshirt and huge baggy sweatpants. We would have liked to have seen scrubs on her. Rachel gave the tour and answered all of our questions. She was very knowledgeable about the memory unit ! The rooms were quite large. The shared living area was pretty crowded and kinda dismal. The outside area had no view at all. Just a fenced in space. Overall, We felt that my dad would get good care but it was pretty depressing.
