My father in law lived here for five years. He really liked being at OakLeaf. We visited several homes and he chose OakLeaf. It is a small home everyone knows each other, they have a lot of activities available for their residents to participate in and he loved that they had a barber at the home. He felt at home there. The administrative Assistant, Jeanny, is such a wonderful person. She treats the people like family. I would highly recommend OakLeaf Manor for your loved one.

My father was a resident at Oak Leaf Manor South between 2016 and 2019, in the Alzheimer''s/dementia wing. From the administration to the nursing care, my family was pleased with his stay at the Millersville location. In 2019 this center was entirely remodeled--which truly enhanced this location and made it feel more welcoming. My father enjoyed living here, before he passed (at age 89). The nursing staff are to be commended--they were personable, friendly, positive. They kept me informed of all his medical issues and assisted with making outside appointments (when necessary). Food was good. Services provided were also good, including laundry, housekeeping, activities, hair cuts, etc. The facility was well maintained and often beautifully decorated for holidays.

When the time came to move my elderly aunt into an assisted-living facility, I made the choice to move her into Oak Leaf Manor South. Their home is smaller, which gave me comfort knowing that my aunt would be more comfortable moving about in her new surroundings. The staff is family-minded, caring, and treats their residents with respect & dignity. They allow the residents as much independence as they can accept until they are unable or less willing. They have numerous daily activities for interaction to stimulate their minds, make them laugh, and even help to heal their hearts. I know that their staff helped to heal my heart every time I walked through their doors! I am truly thankful that I chose Oak Leaf Manor South.

Her room size is great for her needs. The staff members have been great about communicating and keeping us informed with what is going in inside the facility, especially with COVID. I would definitely recommend this facility, we are very pleased.
