There is no integrity at this facility. There’s all these rules a regulation but they only apply to certain people. The staff is incompetent. I’ve seen so much in the short time I’ve worked here and it’s the saddest place to work. The psych patient don’t get the help they need because the people they hire should be psych patients. They lack accountability and morals.. if you’re looking for an easy job where you can literally steal patients meds, show up to work late, and still have a job. Apply at NVP!

My Uncle is currently there and he NEVER receives any cash we send. There has been a few times they have “lost” his cashiers check. He is disabled and doesn’t have legs, they keep him in a room and the only times he sees anyone is when they bring him his medicine. He’s never checked on and when we call to check on him, they never let us talk to him. We always have to call back several times. This place is horrible and I can’t wait to get him out of there.

Get your off days. They give you second chances. And they work with you. If you want to advance in your career this is a good place to work at. They will put you through classes and help you advance in your career.

My daughter was sent here to receive help for recent schizoaffective disorder and they were supposed to have her see their local psychiatrist immediately upon her arrival. They never did! They lost her personal items she had and I requested her personal inventory numerous times and never received it. She had glasses when she left Mercy and she no longer had them upon the arrival. I kept requesting they find them and they never did. She was supposed to be on a diet and they didn''t follow any diet restrictions at all. She arrived there 10/2 and as of today, 1/6 she has gained over 100 lbs. I shipped an entire week''s worth of clothing to cover her from head to toe and was never able to get inventory on what she had, they could never even confirm she received any of it. I shipped her coloring books, word search books, crayons, colored pencils, and pencils; she had them but when she was picked up they were not sent with her. When the new care team arrived to pick her up, they were told they weren''t aware she was leaving. We had to postpone her move by a day because for three weeks prior we had repeatedly requested signed doctors orders and prescriptions. They never provided them and they kept saying they were working on it. Upon arrival, they said they would need another day and they told them not with her and they were finally able to provide the documents. My daughter looked and smelled like she hadn''t bathed in several days, and it was a 2 hour drive they had to be confined with her in. Her hair was matted and dirty. Her clothes didn''t fit, she didn''t even have underwear on. I had no idea how horrible this place was or I never would''ve sent her here. When I called and I asked all the right questions, it sounded good. When she arrived, I learned just how terrible it is. The staff is 30/1 and no one follows the requests of the guardians. She is finally back in her home county; extremely dehydrated, in 8 hours has urinated less than 1 tsp of urine, and couldn''t even get blood work because they couldn''t even get a needle in her. She is on her way to the ER as I''m typing this for fluids and possible antibiotics. She is wearing shoes 2 sizes bigger than her normal because of their lack of care. Please, I beg you, Do NOT send anyone here.
