When I went to Noble Senior Living at West Allis, I saw a lot of people sitting and wandering around outside, which kind of bothered me, because it was right on a very busy street. When I got up into the memory care area, it was very nice and spacious, but it's more on the lower end. The dining area looked nice. The actual person that normally would have taken me around was not there, it was somebody else that was doing it. That person was very nice though. There's no real place for them to go out, like a yard, to be outside and do any type of outdoor activity. It was just strange to have a building like that in the middle of everything.

I toured Noble Senior Living at West Allis and the tour experience was wonderful. They were remodeling at the time and the coordinator was great & very amenable. This community is very urban and would work best for those who would be uncomfortable in a suburban setting. It was also less expensive than any other community we toured. We chose another community because Noble Senior Living would work best for someone who's an urban dweller and on a tight budget or fixed income.

From the moment you walk in until you leave, it smells like urine. The building is poorly maintained and never seems clean. My mom has lived here the past 12 years and things went from okay to worse with each owner change. When they finally let me in to see my mom, the conditions were deplorable and she went without toilet paper for 3 days! She also had dried feces left in her carpet.

We toured Noble Senior Living at West Allis. We were able to tour just the assisted living part because the memory care floors have a certain code on the elevator. Also, just based on my mom's current issues with memory, they don't know if memory care is necessarily what she needs. She still knows where she is and just has trouble coming up with words sometimes. The person who gave me the tour was pretty nice and knowledgeable. The overall state of the building and the rooms, or at least the room that we saw, probably need some maintenance on it. It had molding that needed to be replaced and the floors could look better. The size of the rooms was bigger though than that of the other place we saw. We didn't get a chance to try the food, but they said they didn't know how much they'd be able to accommodate my mom's dietary thing just because a lot of times, things are served with a side of rice or a side of pasta or breaded chicken and she just doesn't want to eat that. They had a whole calendar of trips. They would take the residents to places, go shopping, and stuff like that, but I didn't take a long look at it. The rooms were bigger here but I feel like the rest of the building just needs an update. The person who assisted us did not ask as many questions as far as my mom is concerned. He did not try to get to know her or figure her out. The other guy at the other place we visited sat through a good 45 minutes of just chit-chatting with her. The guy in this place just had a ten-minute conversation before we just went and looked around the place.

My mom has lived here about 12 years. It started off alright until they kept changing names and ownership every few years. They have recently changed leadership with a new administrator that has a nursing degree so one would think things should improve. Instead, I found my mom living in squalor after NOT being allowed to see her room in two years due to Covid. We finally came to do a wellness check and we’re shocked by what we saw. At the the very least, they are required to provide assistance with cleaning, restocking toilet paper, clean laundry, clean bedding, assist with showers and hygiene if needed. This has not been the case for a while now. We are very disappointed and are looking to move our mother as soon as possible.
