My mother has been at Mt Carmel for 3 years. She is on the memory care unit and our experience has been wonderful. I am thankful for the caring staff, the activities, and the kind supportive care my mother receives there. During COVID, nursing care is suddenly on the front line - an airborne disease and a vulnerable population- and they have done an excellent job with the numerous complex problems that have been a part of the last 2 years. I am so thankful my mother is at Mount Carmel because I trust them 100%, which is crucial during this time.

My mom stayed at Mt Carmel for 2 weeks after a hospital stay. She needed Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Nursing care. She was very happy there and felt comfortable, cared for, and safe. I felt very relieved knowing she was in such good hands. Their Covid-19 protocols are top notch, which means they are doing everything they can to keep the residents and staff safe. I appreciated the thorough screening process prior to each visit and respected every effort made to protect the Mt. Carmel environment. Joe, the Administrator, personally greeted my mother upon admission and that just solidified for us that everyone cares - it starts at the top! All of the staff are friendly and welcoming - from the lobby staff, the cleaning staff, the laundry folks, the chef, the specialists, the nurses, the residents - EVERYONE was delightful! If you find yourself in a situation where a loved-one needs special care, be sure to look into Mt Carmel - you will be very impressed with this gem of a facility. They are hard to come by for sure. THANK YOU Mt Carmel!

My grandmother had 88 for oxygen and none of the nurse''s would not give an oxygen tank or anything to help her, she was not communicating with our family members. When we brought her to the hospital they said her lungs were hurt

My mother was blessed to spend a little over a year at Mt. Carmel. The staff is outstanding, genuinely caring. Absolutely everyone, activities staff, secretaries, culinary, custodial, etc. know the residents by name. They say hello, ask how they are feeling, complement them. The activities are amazing and the staff involvement is incredible. The cafe is very inviting and you can''t help but enjoy the music that is from their era but I grew up with too. I love listening to it. The dining on each floor caters to each person''s needs. It''s great. My mother called it home. Which was something we never thought would happen. She was never very social but became close to the people she ate with daily. Which is something she never had living alone. When my mom was dying my family realized how much the staff was a part of our family, they knew us, they took care of our needs, but most of all, we couldn''t have taken better care of my mom than they did and for that we will be eternally grateful.
