Lancaster Grove Senior Living was relatively new. It's very, very clean, very friendly and safe. The staff who assisted me was wonderful. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. I didn't even get into all their activities, but it looked like they were having some craft thing going on. They had a nice porch for people to sit on. They had a common room where they can gather. There was a television in the lobby, and the lobby was decorated beautifully. It was very nice.

I liked my tour of Lancaster Grove Senior Living. It's cheaper than anything else I've called and asked about. I like the establishment itself. I also liked that the janitor took me for a tour because I got there early. He introduced me to people, and the people there were friendly. But you can't just leave anybody there, becasue they tend to walk off. The staff that I met there were friendly. I was there at lunchtime but nobody offered me to try the food. You have to bring everything when you move there, they don't furnish anything but the food and laundry service. They help with the patients, but that's it. I'd have to bring a bed and dresser for example for my husband. They had a courtyard, a piano, and a recreation area, they offer a church and they have devotion time. You don't have to go far for restaurants.

Making the decision to move my mother in law into an assisted living facility was gut wrenching, especially during Covid. But it bacame obvious she wasn't getting what she needed in my home. Sometimes love isn't enough. Once we made the decision Lancaster Grove helped us transition her quickly. Every week when we go visit her, she tells us how happy she is there. She stays busy with so many activities and making friends. It's been the absolute best decision. If you are looking, I know how hard it is. But I can honestly tell you Lancaster Grove is Amazing!

The residents are very happy and involved in the many activities offered throughout the day. The staff are very attentive and caring. Many of the employees have worked at the community for more than 20 years so that says an awful lot about Lancaster Grove! When it's sunny and warm out, the front porch is a very inviting perk of the community. The residents love to sit outdoors and visit with their friends. They also have two smaller courtyards and a large, center courtyard that is very inviting on nice days. I highly recommend Lancaster Grove for many reasons, but the main reason relates to the heart of the community. Lancaster, SC is a great town to live, work, and retire. The community in which Lancaster Grove is located is a quiet, residential area near USC-Lancaster and area churches. The town of Lancaster and the surrounding communities love Lancaster Grove and the many residents who call Lancaster Grove home do, as well.
