No one answers the phone. The response to google reviews states to please call to discuss concerns or issues, however the phone has yet to be answered and I have called 5 times today. It seems that they are very understaffed at this time.

I just spent the entire the holiday season as a hip implant patient. They were warm and kind. Many patients are rude and completely unaware and dismissive of stressful working conditions where patients in pain tend to get very emotional with severity of the pain and act out. My hat is off to the very kind and sympathetic nursing and maintenance staff at Montrose Bay.

I have been a resident at Montrose Bay for the last month. I have felt the care, compassion, and love from this staff every moment I have been here. From the administrator, director of nursing, and every single staff member I have felt truly blessed. One nurse even went to my house to pick up supplies that were mailed there by mistake. One night shift nurse was especially comforting encouraging me and letting me know that I was never alone. The words from the staff always left me feeling calmer and motivated to return home. I feel blessed that I was able to stay at this facility

Mom moved from Montrose Bay Rehabilitation to Montrose Bay permanent residency. In the month that she has been there, a nurse has responded to her call button with “what do you want now” another time when asked to help with the bathroom was told “you can do it yourself” and when I tried talking to a nurse on the phone, was told I’m too busy, I have other people to take care of. My mom has congenital heart issues and is on oxygen. When she asks for assistance getting dressed, is told she can do it herself. I have met some of the staff and they are very compassionate, cheerful and helpful. However, the actions of a couple of staff members who should not be in this field are a danger to the residents who need the care. Montrose Bay is impossible to reach by phone. Rarely is a phone answered by a person. It is automated and when you try to be connected to any other department, you are again put through to a voicemail that only results in a call back - maybe once for every five times you try and never on the same day! This facility is very understaffed. Thank you to the staff that are doing their best despite the working conditions. But for the safety of our parents in your facility, please be aware of your colleagues who do not have the same compassion and ethics that you have.

My Mother has had a great experience here for the past five years. Until 2021 I was informed often of all current status of her condition and Weekly email updates on Covid status. Since first of July I’ve tried to get available monies from her Patient Account. These funds Can be used for personal needs of the client. The newest Administrator left after 4 months, Business Manager has left, replacement is juggling working at two facilities. Both the Office and Nursing Staffs have changed multiple times. New employees cannot be blamed for the confusion at the location. Residents are NO longer getting thorough treatment.
Read moreRoaches, no hand sanitizer (never filled), visitation was a nightmare, never bathed or changed his clothes, and some staff very rude (Rhonda). I would not recommend for a loved one. They refused my entry into his room after numerous request to look for his glasses which I found under his bed.
