Monroe House was the greatest place ever. The staff was more caring and patient towards the residents and family than at other communities, I believe. They tried to include my loved one in all the activities and they were patient and would check on my loved one. It was such a good experience for us. The community allows the residents to stay in their room if they have trouble with walking to eat their meals. Otherwise the meals are served in the dining room. There are three meals a day served and the residents are allowed snacks if they need them. They have an activities director and they do a lot of activities for the residents to participate in.
