I worked at Miller’s Merry Manor in Logansport as a CNA. It’s honestly not as nice and wonderful as many people think. The management is a bunch of fruitcakes and they focus more on covering up problems in the facility rather than actually addressing them. I, like many others, was belittled and talked down to, extremely overworked, and we were being paid less than the State average, and then they wonder why they can’t keep staff. The employees all have their own little cliques— much like a high school rather than a healthcare facility. The employees who claim they do the most are really the ones who do the least. It’s like pulling teeth to get a nurse to do anything there besides pass meds and do charting. You’ll never see any of them answering a call light or helping a resident, they’re basically overpaid adult babysitters. There was too much gossiping and drama than I could handle. A coworker of mine actually posted a bad review on their page and it ended up getting deleted. I think the company monitors the things posted about them to make themselves look good which is why you don’t see many bad reviews about them. If you’re looking for a job, you will be underpaid and under appreciated. If you’re looking for a place to send your loved one, go elsewhere. This place is a joke.

Facility has odor upon entering. Bad nursing staff; no compassion, nurses lack skills.
Poor Covid guidelines. Lack of compassion and quality staffing. Would not recommend.
They have/do take very good care of my family members here. It’s also a great place to work.
These people are Saints. They took care of my mom (who could be very ornery at times)and showed her nothing but love, patience and compassion. The day my mom died, Mrs. Horner (Head of Nursing) came next to her bedside, brushed my mom''s hair and kissed her on the forehead.
