Day 1: dad with broken hip, nurse needed gait belt, none in room so transferred without one! So much more… look somewhere else for your loved one
My Mother was at the facility for Rehab and had a fantastic experience from the management to the house keeping, The food and staff were great.

Tried to "hospital dump" us at the ER (deny her return) after the first time my mother had a fall. There were 3 other fall incidents in the month my mother was there. None of the 4 falls were witnessed. It took them 12 days and an incident to find a fall mat to place on the floor despite hospital transfer records emphasizing the extreme fall risk she posed and our concerns being voiced on the very night she arrived. Director of Nursing didn''t care about how my mother was ending up on the floor, only fixated on the fact that she had made herself more comfortable with blankets and pillows until found. Her exact words were, "If she wants to put herself on the floor, I''m fine with that." (Her legs couldn''t support herself.) Administration ghosted both our case manager and I while we were trying to secure discharge into a safe home environment.

This is a great facility.
My brother-in-law had a stroke last year and has been at Mission Point of Lamont for 7 months. I wanted to take the time to share a review because I know how overwhelming and worrisome it can be when you are faced with placing a loved one into a facility. My brother-in-law had a stroke last year and has been at Mission Point of Lamont for 7 months. I wanted to take the time to share a review because I know how overwhelming and worrisome it can be when you are faced with placing a loved one into a facility. I feel Mission Point was hand picked by God. At first glance when you pull into the facility you notice how peaceful, quiet and safe it feels on the grounds. The river runs right along side of it, it''s so serene. The entire staff is amazing! They not only show so much compassion, kindness, care and respect for the patients but for the family members too. They are willing to answer any questions or concerns you have and always seek to find a resolution. They also have an entire team that focuses on activities so the patients get out of their room, participate in fun activities, build relationships and feel a connection, like family. I honestly cannot express in words how grateful we are for each and every member at Mission Point. My husband and I are there a lot and we realize what a tough job each individual has. They are dealing with many different patients with different needs and difficulties but no matter how stressful a situation may be, the staff always approaches it with kindness, concern and love. They truly make the patients feel heard, seen and cared for. So if you are in search of a long term facility for your loved one, I would recommend Mission Point Lamont without any reservations. Thank You Mission Point for all you do!
