Terrible place to work management is horrible especially DON Kim she screams, belittles, and intimates staff. Precious midnight STNA will leave you in a dark hallway at 6am so you can fall while she cusses you out. Watch out the bugs will get you next as we are full of ants, beetles, and all kinds of bugs to infest your love one and we don''t spray either. Why because management said those bugs won''t hurt you. So think twice before working here or putting your love one here. I warned you!

Despite the challenges that COVID has brought to the long term care facilities since March 2020, the care my father received at Merit House was good. The staff was helpful with our "window" visits during this time. They were also patient with any questions or concerns our family had.
I had to put my husband in. On the 4th day we were able to get hospice involved. When he got home he looked horrible. Not from his illness. But from them not taking care of him . He had servere dry lips and tongue. and eyes were stuck shut from no one taking care of him. My 2 girls and I had to clea...
I had to put my husband in. On the 4th day we were able to get hospice involved. When he got home he looked horrible. Not from his illness. But from them not taking care of him . He had servere dry lips and tongue. and eyes were stuck shut from no one taking care of him. My 2 girls and I had to clean him up. 3 days later he passed away. His mouth was so dry there was no way they gave him anything to drink. Hell when we were able to give him liquid so I don''t know why they didn''t. 😭

I was in the Merritt house for about 4 months 55 year old bilateral amputee. Physical Therapy was great the aides were great. They came around make sure you had what you needed. Very clean. Courtyard out back. Some of the employees brought your dogs in that was nice the owner has a nice dog. I''ve stayed in quite a few of these places I stayed in a really state-of-the-art place out on MCO property.
