They let my grandmother fall out of bed several times, never tried to prevent this from happening the several times it happened. She ended up getting brain damage and dying because of their neglect. If you love your parent or grandparent, do not send them here. They didn''t even notify us when she died, sent her straight to the morgue. It disgusts me that this place is still open. My grandmother was unable to speak after the last time and died the day after I visited her. I will never be able to get that image out of my head. I hope you all are haunted by the things you do to the people who rely on your care.

My mother started rehab at Prescott House back in May 2018, but revisited 3 more times due to not a very good year for my mother. The 4th time she went in for rehab, we decided to remain there and apply to the Nursing Home section of the facility (the 2nd floor). The Rehab was excellent, but my mother could no longer take care of herself at her home (even with hiring home health aides for several hours a day), and needed a 24/7 facility. Since November 2018 she has been in the nursing home ward and the care has been excellent. It''s not very flashy in the Prescott house, but it is clean and all the staff, nurses, aides, and financial are friendly and helpful. I find that the kitchen staff is great: there are 2 choices of entrees for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as a la carte stuff in case you don''t like the entrees. I like the food there. There may be a few dishes that may not be that great, but for the most part, they must spend an inordinate amount of money on the food budget for the amount of food that is available and the number of choices that are always available. There are activities every hour and seasonal activities occasionally. My mother chooses a handful of those per week and it make me feel very relieved that she has found some activities to her liking and has also occupied her spare time with other interests of her liking. There is an outside patio that we sit outside and eat, etc. and a main lobby with refreshments available if the weather is not great. I highly recommend the Prescott House rehab and nursing home to everyone and anyone. If you take a tour of any nursing home, talk to any of the visitors to get the real dope of what''s going on.
