This is a great place. My dad was in the serenity lane hospice unit and everyone goes above and beyond to assist the patient and family during this difficult time.

My father was placed here after a month long hospital stay. The staff here are ten star worthy!! They were patient and kind and EXTREMELY easy to work with! They treated my father with so much kindness even when he was so very difficult! My father was able to recover to the point of moving out and to a supportive living facility but it was a hard decision to make and even harder on moving day. I felt like I was loosing my support system. This place really goes above and beyond for all of it’s clients and their families. I hope I am as lucky when I am in this situation myself.

The meals served are high in sugar and some of it looks very unappetizing. Serving a diabetic a donut for breakfast or a puny lunch meat sandwich with chips and a glass of juice for dinner is wrong. Terrible.

Our mother entered McLean County Nursing Home (MCNH) at the end of April, 2021, after five months recovering from brain surgery. She left in June, 2021 after insurance declined further coverage for her stay. Not only did our mom dramatically improve while at MCNH, under very difficult physical and mental circumstances, when it came time to help us with testimony in describing our mom''s condition to the appeal Judge, MCNH folks went to bat for us. They were EXCELLENT advocates for our mom, their patient. We wouldn''t hesitate in recommending them to anyone. Tough business, but God bless nurses, therapists and administrators!
