We toured with Mayberry Gardens for assisted living for my loved one and the set up configuration was smaller bedrooms but bigger community areas. It was just not the right fit for her and what we were looking for.

The facility went up in price, which was very disappointing. Supposedly the industry went up an average of $[removed] because of increased costs. The care that she's getting is nowhere close to my expectations.

The community was so clean and they always got everyone up out of bed and for that we would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

My loved one was in building 3 and things were not too bad. But had to be moved to building one and it's been terrible. The building is 98 percent of time is spotless and doesn't smell. They have had a turnover in aides. Can't seem to find people who want to work and care about the elderly. Laundry has stacked up. Meals missed. Cleanup and hygiene help not performed. If you are bedridden you are in trouble here at this time. I feel like management tries but they fo t have a good handle of what goes on.

The owners are reachable via text, call, or email. and they are willing to meet with the family which is great. They do try to accommodate the family's requests. There are some great people here that care for the residents. There are some frustrations with the meals and this is because it depends on who is cooking that day. I love the way the staff interact with my loved ones. Overall we are happy with the way they are treating my loved ones. I would recommend Mayberry to others for their loved ones.
