I gotta say, this facility seems to have a culture of very caring and involved staff members. People who are trying to make the lives of those around them more enjoyable. I am impressed and appreciative for the service this facility provides for my father. Thank you
Facility takes great care by all employees
Great Facility, Great personnel, Great attitudes! These people are totally qualified and go way beyond the call to duty as the last responders to promote good health and safety to all the occupants at Marquis Co on Shattuck RD. Portland.

My husband was at the VA Hospital unexpectedly March 21, 2020 to April 4th when Marquis was the only rehab facility who was able to take him. As you know during this Covid 19 pandemic it is a challenge for those who serve us to be able to provide appropriate medical care & recovery. He was placed in foster care home on May 18, 2020 where he remains. Marquis was very involved in his recovery, they had telephone meetings with me to ensure all his needs were met. They alerted me when he wanted to leave (not ready yet). The staff helped me facilitate the move to foster care making it a smooth transition. They were extremely careful to ensure he was protected, his items were given to me, and they were timely with his discharge when it came time. I even met one of the owner relatives at a retail store recently as I was sharing my experience with him about Marquis Vermont Hills. I would highly recommend this place to anyone short or long term. They care deeply for their clients.

My name is Colesie Tharp. My father was brought to Marquis Vermont Hills after a week in the hospital. The isolation for the senior community that was brought on by COVID 19- proved to be very difficult to my father. He became quite sick. The Marquis staff has been nothing but exceptional. My father is not an easy patient and they meet him hour after hour with great patience and beautiful care. Britney Wells the social service director has been extremely helpful and thorough. Once we realized that our dad would be moving into a different type of facility- one that provided more one on one care I was so nervous about finances- Britney helped guide our family through the medicaid application. Jeff is someone who has worked closely with my father throughout his stay and he is a complete angel. He is calm, knowledgable and you can tell that he truly cares about the people he meets. My phone calls were always answered quickly and the entire staff has gone above and beyond to communicate during this horrible time of COVID. I truly cannot say enough positive things about this place. I have been helping my father for the last 6 years- since he retired and started to experience cognitive impairment. It hasn''t been until this experience at Marquis that I have been so listened to and offered so much support. The time and care that the entire staff takes to help is unmatchable. I have learned a great deal about the frustrating obstacles that the healthcare system encounters with trying to take care of one of our most vulnerable populations. Knowing that my father was safe at the Marquis gave me hope and allowed me to sleep at night. The staff are true heroes and I have no idea how I will ever repay them. Truly!

My wife is at Vermont Hills for the second time in two years and I am very happy with their attention they give her. She has a broken shoulder this time and she was in horrible pain when she left the hospital. She now complains much less about the pain and is anxious to come home. So even though I can''t visit her with the C19 virus, I feel confident she is getting good care. Thanks to all the Caregivers at Vermont Hills R. Lutz
