I’ve never been happier working for a company. My days are constantly full of happiness, and laughter. I have a great relationship with all of the residents. I’ve never been upset that I have to go into work and I hate having to have days off! Very grateful to be in my community!

I am a nurse for hospice, I have been seeing patients that needed our service in this building for over a year now. It makes my job much easier when you have the great staff that Sky Ridge has. On the assisted living side, the staff is consistent and aware of the current status of their patients. They are able to give me informative updates and follow orders and instructions well. Communication with Daniella (AL manager) and her staff ( Maria, Jonathon, Jose, Yesenia ) is great. Always available and willing to work with myself, the patient and their family to ensure the best outcome for the patient. The memory care side staff are so special. They have great relationships with the patients and their loved ones. They know their patients and how to best care for them. If you have ever worked in memory care you know that no two patients are alike and patients have their good and bad days. I find that Becca (MC manager) and her staff ( Sonia, Elizabeth, Maria, Alma) are very patient, kind and caring with their patients. They are knowledgeable of their needs and understanding of the special care they require. My patients are always smiling and happy when I see them. They are involved in engaging activities that are inventive and different. I have also noticed that not just the memory care staff but all staff ( Kyle- Ed, Jared-DON, Ida- reception, Trevor- maintenance, Kenzie- activities) are familiar and frequently socialize and converse with a lot of patients. They know their names and what they like. They even love and hug on them like they are their own. Staff is respectful with patients and families, it helps me so much when the patient and family are happy with where they are living during a very difficult time. I look forward continuing my great working relationship with Sky Ridge.

NOT COHESIVE FOR HIGH NEEDS RISEIDENTS/CHANGING NEEDS/FEEDING NEEDS/BATHING NEEDS. Good for low needs residents or independent living. Cost:fair Care: not great. This is my most honest/detailed review for other families based on my/family/friends observations and experience within memory care or "cfl-connections for life" for my mom. Pros: clean facility. If you''re loved one isn''t in memory care, it''s probably better than most. Cons: lack of care for high needs residents. Lack of professionalism from some employees. Not all but some, mainly male employees within this unit. My mom was here for roughly a week with family/friends coming in everyday. Multiple times a day, different times of day. Prior to this facility my mom danced, and showed overall joy to her environment. She was expressive. while she is not verbal you can tell when she''s happy and when she''s not. Within the first week of her being here she had stopped dancing, started hanging her head and her mood was overall not good. On multiple occasions she was not clean, smelled bad and was just overall not cared for. I was told she could wander at night but was told by an employee he has to stand at her door to keep her in bed. I pulled her out asap, i didnt say anything for fear of retaliation as she was already being neglected. After i took her out and expressed my many reasons why, I was told it was a learning curve. But when you sit with the sales team, or RNs then do the "assesment" of the resident and go over care needs etc for literally an hour+, I fail to see where the learning curve is with basic needs like bathing, feeding etc. I see where the curve is personality wise but not when basic needs arent being met. I was told they had a difficult time showering my mom. So........ they didnt do it? Isnt that what theyre trained for as caregivers how to handle that? We witnessed one male employee exiting my mom''s restroom in her apartment zipping his fly. He used her restroom and didn''t flush, didn''t put the lid down, how much of that did she witness? Did she see his privates? Do they not have facilities for employees? I was grossed out and Very confused. Another employee (male) wheeled a woman who was distressed into her dark room and left her there. No light. No TV. No distraction. Nothing. I know there''s protocols for residents not disturbing other residents but leaving her alone like that in a dark room seemed just wrong. I had gone at dinner time, multiple times this first week and she was not being fed, she was alone in her room 30 mins past the start of dinner, and I can''t help but wonder if I didn''t bring her food and feed her myself would she have been missed and not fed? I observed the caregivers not knowing who had been fed, who hasn''t, guessing on who had and who hadnt eaten. A basic need. I know caregivers don''t have easy jobs by any means but I was extremely disappointed with the cost vs the care received. Probably short staffed or staffed with a few caregivers who don''t care. There''s definitely worse places but I was extremely disappointed with this facility. Great sales team though. 👍
