I couldn''t imagine being a resident here and having to put up with such disrespect. I sincerely hope the residents here are safe and taken care of. This message I found posted at the front desk honestly makes me sick to my stomach.

I would like to pursue them for my father. I was impressed with the staff. It's close. I live close by, which is a plus. Everybody seemed very organized. The apartments looked fine and very comfortable. I loved seeing the activities. It looked like everyone was well taken care of and having a good time. They showed me the activity center, the dining hall, and an apartment or two. I thought the common area was very clean. The staff were very nice and professional.
Read moreIt was very nice. They gave a nice presentation. The administration was very helpful. Their monthly fees were very good. Their activities were good, too. They had either apartments or studio apartments depending on what one would want.

My mom moved into Maple Glen Senior Living, and I think it is a very good fit for her. It is not super large, and it is all assisted care. There's probably maybe 60 units, so it's not one of those great big places. I like it because it's off the beaten path; it's not right there in the middle of town or anything. It's out on the outskirts. It's right across from the hospital, so that is good. The help there seem pretty nice, and they are all concerned. They check on my mom all the time. They're always letting her know when it's time to go eat or anything; I find that nice. I don't know if it's the best because I can't really compare it to anything else, but I've been pretty happy with having my mom there. She seems to be pretty happy and more outgoing. At home she just sat, but here at least she gets out. They have daily activities for them all the time. I think when Covid restrictions finally open up, things will get better. They have field trips for the people too. Mom's really looking forward to that. I think it is good so far, and I can't think of any bad things about it. The staff have been pretty good. Although the other day, she was trying to get hold of the nurse. She was given kind of runaround answers, but that might have just been the one aid. I think her apartment is pretty good. There's one item that I wasn't too thrilled about, but it doesn't really matter. When she first moved in, the apartment had a microwave. She had a microwave when we went and toured it. When she moved in, they had taken the microwave out for whatever reason and they gave her another microwave. It's an older one. It is also small (which they all are). Anyway, I'm happy with her apartment. The other day, she was telling me she used to not like eggs. She said that's what they give you for breakfast: eggs. She goes down to the activites and does group exercises. She likes their cornhole game, their beach ball game, and hula hoop toss. They have a snack cart that goes around once in a while, and they can choose a snack. They have a library book cart that goes around too. They could choose books to read, and they have a library upstairs in their building. Value wise (compared to other places), I think it's about the same as other places. I still think that they charge way more than what they need to.
