I practically lived at The Villages Rehab & Nursing Center with my mother after she endured multiple brain surgeries at UF Health in Gainesville. My mother was denied entry from several rehab facilities in and around The Villages but Debbie was so gracious as to meet with me and offer admission. TVRNC is more than equipped to handle patients with traumatic brain injuries. My mother required speech, occupational and physical therapy. The therapists were lovely! They were accommodating and understanding of my mother''s condition. We also had several kind and compassionate nurses and aides during my mother''s stay. I personally got to know several of the social workers who were all so very kind and even facilitated finding private care givers to sit with my mother when needed. Due to my mother''s extensive brain injuries, she was not always an easy patient. But the staff was understanding, compassionate and helpful. I toured many rehab facilities in the area and I highly recommend TVRNC!
