lorien taneytown regular night nurse that have this team from 9 to 15 and from 16 to 23 does not give patients medication when a patient call for pain medication you have to call her 3 time and she sites the all night and start giving medication at 5 am the staffare saying she has her mother into the assistant living the staff do say she does like her mother to be taken good care but she does not good care of her patients and the patient in room 16B that use cipap that is medication breathing traitement will call for her breathing treatment to be put on she will ask the gna to put the mask for the patient and trun on the oxygen machine and she will said she doesn''t supposed to do it the gna has to do it like the gna has to put on the breathing traitement on but what i know gna doesn''t give medication the gnas are so wonderful they do team work help pass out water help put out the trash the nurse name is hkemery

Lorien Taneytown is a wonderful assisted living community. Stacy was extremely helpful, compassionate and reassuring from day 1 when I called to inquire about assisted living for my father. She came out with Debbie for an assessment and my dad hit it off with both of them immediately. We knew it would be a great fit. My dad moved in and was impressed by the staff, the food and the amenities. The facility itself is new and very clean. From the second you walk through the door the women (and cute dog!) at the front desk are always so warm and helpful. This is much more than just an assisted living facility, it’s a community that really cares for one another. We have been to several other facilities that are nowhere near the quality of Lorien. Verna took the time to really get to know my dad and find activities that may interest him. He can be a tough nut to crack but Verna is extremely patient, genuine and kind. I could tell she really cared about him and she loves what she does at Lorien with all the residents. She made sure to stop by the skilled nursing side before my dad went home so she could catch up before he left. That really meant a lot to him. Debbie, one of the RNs at Lorien, worked with us on my fathers wound care and overall medical needs for several months. She always kept me in the loop with how he was doing and would call me to talk through his care plan. She was also extremely kind, knowledgeable, patient and my dad loved their conversations. She really looked out for him. As I mentioned, Stacy was the first director I spoke with from Lorien. She was responsive, sincere and helped us navigate what felt like an extremely daunting process before we met with her. She made it easy while providing all of the necessary information to make an educated decision. My dad spent a lot of time at a few other skilled nursing facilities, but never assisted living. She spent the time to talk to my dad about their community and answer any and all questions which put him at ease. Stacy went above and beyond and I can’t thank her enough. She would quickly respond to my emails, calls and genuinely cared about what was best for my dad over the 4 months that he was part of the Lorien family. I usually don’t need frequent contact but when my father’s health declined, she was there to help us through those tough decisions. The facility prior to Lorien was not trustworthy, reliable and certainly did not have our best interest at heart. Stacy was a breath of fresh air because we knew we could trust her and the staff at Lorien. There are many more staff members that were wonderful to my dad and my family while we were there. If you take away anything from this review it should be that Lorien is a top-notch community for your loved one. I can’t thank them enough.
