My mother needed intravenous antibiotic medication after finding out that she had an infection in her spine. Naturally, she hoped that she would be able to have this medication given to her at home, but the costs of an at-home Nurse are through the roof. So we needed to get her to a facility that could do intravenous antibiotics as well as physical therapy and wellness to keep her body from getting weak and her mind and mental health in good shape. The staff at Longwood health and rehab is dedicated to providing the best care for their patients. The employees have a “can do“ attitude. The employees here strive to make each and every client comfortable whether that be through medication or mental health concerns, they are on top of it. My mom had to stay at this facility for almost 2 months and I can confidently say that they took her care very seriously, they listened to our concerns and always did their best to communicate anything the family needed to be aware of. I am very grateful for the services provided at this facility and equally grateful for the staff who works hard at providing optimal care for your family member in need. You hear of the places that people go to die…. This is one of those. Do not send your family here! Had to sit in her own feces for hours while being ignored asking to be cleaned. Meds were always late, sometimes even being skipped, to the facility not even having them to give. Rude employees. Most of them are only attentive when the family is there. Witnessed employees screaming at each other in the hallway.
