I toured the facility. It was homey and I could tell the people that lived there were well taken care of. We have visited several ALF's in the area and this one didn't smell and the caregiver ratio is the best we found. We weren't able to place because mom got sick too fast. We had to put her on hospice and our home caregivers were less than adequate. Mom passed in a couple days. My biggest regret is not placing mom here earlier. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Hi, I'm [name removed]. Grandma wanted me to write this for her for her mother that stayed at Hollydale at Light Heart. Grandma said that Light Heart was such a blessing to her mother. [name removed] was kind, helpful and always took care of mom. They worked with her financially in some tough times and mom lived at Light Heart for 4 years until she was 99 years old. They always have taken care of mom and the other ladies in the house as well. They communicated so well with me.

We chose Light Heart Memory Care because my mom needed more care and they were able to provide that. It is also very close to my home and convenient. They do have a variety of room sizes to choose from, my mom was in a room that used to be a den and she shared it with a roommate and they had plenty of space. The best part about this community was the staff members got her up everyday and all the residents were always together interacting. They took great care of my mother here and we had a great experience.
Read moreLovely home setting. Liked the comfortable feel of it. Like the ratio of caregiver to patients. And it's awesome they get healthy meals prepared there.
I cancelled this tour. We decided that we prefer a more professional setting
