I was very happy with the care my mom received while she was there. Kelly Okahashi in the business office was a huge help with the challenging process of setting up her Medicaid account. Thank you.

I was a physical therapy student at LCCP and I loved my experience there. The rehab team consisting of Erin, Krystal, Teresa, Amy, Jason, Brandon, Morgan and Taquana are great people that are all really knowledgable people and very friendly as well. All staff provided a friendly environment and was willing to answer any questions I had. The facility itself is a very aesthetic building with two floors and the best part being an ice cream parlor. During holidays the staff actively participated in providing patient experiences similar to what they would get at home and I personally liked the above and beyond approach from mardi gras parade in their rooms to the green festivities of St Patricks day. This is a great place that will provide the care and attention needed for anyone''s loved one. I was truly grateful for my experience.

I was at Life Care Center of Pensacola after my stroke in October 2022 and when I learned that I needed rehab after another hospitalization, this is the only place I wanted to go. Many of the same staff are still here, so employee turnover is at a low rate, which says so much about an employer. It is still a place where the culture of kindness, compassion, and helpfulness is expected of all staff throughout the facility. The food is excellent, and coffee, though not always available on the floor, ambulatory residents, and even their guests can go downstairs to the coffee shop day or night to get their cups of jo. Often staff are able to go fetch it for them, if Asa residents can’t manage it themselves. Oh, and did I mention the food is excellent? If you, a friend, or other loved one need skilled nursing or rehab care, this may be the place for you. If they offered assisted living, I would love to stay. Brandon, Physical Therapy, Amy Occupational Therapy, and Morgan, Speech Therapy were some of the outstanding folks who helped me. Nursing and all other support staff could not have been more helpful, Oh, and the food is great, too.🙃

I am writing this post while sitting at home in my recliner, after rehabilitation at Life Care on Olive Road in Pensacola! I am 82 years old and was admitted here after exhaustive but extraordinary surgery for broken arm and shoulder bones from a fall in my bedroom. Sounds like a simple injury but it was excruciatingly painful and felt more like I had been pushed off a rooftop than I had actually tripped over a pair of tennis shoes. I arrived on a Tuesday morning and with great care here was released 10 days later. It is the staff and their expertise that I am writing about today. At first I hated the necessity of being in rehab! After all, I am a Harvard Alum and international traveler who managed major label rock bands and artists - and am a person who truly enjoyed walking several miles a day before my fall. At Life Care, I was in a room with a roomie … a first for me. 32 staples held my split left arm together. My head was bruised in many places. I just wanted to heal but soon learned there is more to healing than just lying in bed and being at the mercy of medicine, nurses and CNA’s. I met staff and patients who often made me feel better by just talking with me and smiling. After a week I had already decided that after my healing, I would return to Life Cate. Not as a patient but as a volunteer bringing smile to others who brought smiles to me. I cannot recall everyone’s names but a few are embedded at the top of my list to mention: Cody. The handsome red headed administrator for life Care who exuded thoughtfulness and compassion for patients as well as his staff. Stephanie. The decision maker with a smile and firm, fair leadership. Ashleigh. The beautiful CNA who brought sunshine into my room with the breakfast tray. Teresa … occupational therapist who taught me to change attitude as well as the immobilizer brace I am required to wear as my arm and rotator cuff heal Jason … physical therapist who had me walking outside - 1300 steps without stopping just two days before my release Rob …. The invaluable caring practioner who helped by listening as well as prescribing Toby … the big and tall strong man with the aura of an Angel and heart filled with gentleness There are many more whose names slip my mind. The activities lady genius who made a large room full of patients in wheelchairs laugh and clap for staff members performing songs by Reba, Tina, Dolly, and other mega stars. They had me laughing loudly and wishing I could have found a way to clap with only one arm and hand. Life Care, I wait eagerly to see you again - as a volunteer. ❤️
