They do not follow policies. They do not acknowledge legal health care surrogate documents and manipulate dementia patients. Contagious disease prevalent exposed guests didn''t inform them what patient and guests were exposed to. Gave TB shot when permission was not authorized by surrogate. Decided they could over ride incompetence decision made by physicians in 2020. Mom said people were nice but something shady with office workers.

I was a patient 3 years ago and can’t brag enough about the staff, pt, it, and the food was fabulous I had none of those issues that people negatively portrayed. I am now at Hawthorne and this place is a sure nightmare! Everyone on the floor caters to this one patient who is deaf. The patient of course blasts the tv or radio, but only is someone complains will they close her door. Doesn’t matter cause she opens it and continues to blast so EVERYONE could hear. I’ve cried in desperation cause I was right across the hall, so even if I closed my door I could hear the loudness.. I had a severe panic attack because I was looked at as being the bad guy. Why even other patients told me that this doesn’t happen anywhere else so don’t go to Hawthorne!
