Only way your family member gets treated well is if you always have another family member in the room at all times. Don’t take your family there.
My dad moved to this facility and they have been nothing but great and awesome to my dad. Highly recommend this place.

When my mother needed rehab services, we turned to Lexington Medical Lodge in Farmersville, following several recommendations from local friends who''d experienced good care there for their loved ones. I visited the facility prior to her transfer, and was pleased to see bright, spacious rooms and hallways with plenty of space for wheelchairs and walkers to move around and encourage independence. Everything smelled fresh and clean. Double occupancy rooms have en suite bathrooms with accessible showers. Both bathrooms and bedrooms have plenty of private storage for personal items, and each side of the bedroom has a dedicated mini-fridge and television. There is almost always coffee, tea, and ice cream available in the cafeteria. Multiple living room areas include comfortable furniture for guests to visit. There''s a nice activity room where residents gather frequently. An on-site hair salon provides services from visiting stylists weekly. There''s a lovely gazebo on one side of the building with comfortable rocking chairs, and the front porch is also lined with comfortable seating. Residents seem confident in moving about the facility freely with their families. The intake staff were kind, professional, and swift in their work when we expressed the need to transfer my mother there. Her first stay at Lexington was after an unexpected hip replacement following a fall. She had a very challenging recovery, but the staff were amazing and supportive. We always felt welcome, and visiting hours seemed to be very generous-- we were never made to feel like it was time to go. We even held our little Father''s Day celebration and my daughter''s birthday in the small cafe at the end of my mother''s hallway. The therapy is excellent. The nurses and assistants are very caring and attentive. They held high expectations and celebrated with my mother when she was able to go home after several weeks. When she needed support again recently, we knew just where to go. We have been even more pleased on this visit, with staff remembering my mother and our family, and taking time to check in with us about ways they can help comfort her. They play hymns for her, read her Bible to her, and some have even mentioned that they pray with her, because she likes that. They keep us well informed on how she''s doing when we''re not there with her. From the intake staff, the friendly door attendant, the nurses, the aides, and everyone else-- we''ve been so pleased. They all keep so busy with their work, but someone always takes time with us when we have a question or a need. There''s no greater comfort than the assurance that my mother is well cared for around the clock. I''ve visited many rehab/nursing facilities over my lifetime, and I can honestly say that this one is at the top of the list-- and we are so very thankful for them.

This place is great. They really value their patients and it shows. The staff and leadership also make Lexington a good place to live and thrive. I’d recommend them to anyone.
