My father will be moving into Lewisville Estates. I like the fact that they offer different levels of care. You have like four options and payment amounts according to how much extra help they need. The staff were great. Everybody was very helpful. There was very good staff retention there, which was important to me, too. The chef has been there like 16 years. The dining area was very nice. It has tablecloths and individual tables for four or two. They have a separate dining room that you can ask to reserve if you want to do a family event. They have a very good menu. It's very nice. If there's something that you don't like, you can ask for something from this alternative menu anytime you want. The rooms were nice. They provide a refrigerator, a microwave, and cabinets, and there's also room for us to have a seating area for the TV, and then, of course, the bed. My father will get a closet and his own bathroom with a seated shower.

I liked Lewisville Estates. Independent living was my goal, but I wanted to have a transition to assisted living under the same program, and that is one reason I will be choosing this place, because they have assisted living within the same complex, but not in the same building. It was in a very good location within the city, with food and restaurants very close by. It was very clean and very neat. I only looked at a two-bedroom, but the one shown to me was quite adequate. The only drawback was the small stove and dishwasher. Brittany was quite thorough in describing everything that was offered. She was attentive to the information that I was asking, and she had answers for everything except one item, which she had to contact her superiors. She gave me a folder that listed the meals for each day and I have to agree that I thought they were quite adequate because they offered a selection and they appeared to be good, healthy meals. They offered two different hours for lunch. The facility was centrally located. It was in good repair. There was gardening where people were there mowing and so forth. It felt along good with all the others that I've compared so far.
