I worked there through an agency and staff is nice except for the staffing office. They are always a bit rude and complaining about something. They don''t greet you with a "good morning" or "good evening" they immediately start complaining and it deters you from wanting to pick up shifts. The staffing office specifically needs some customer service trying on how to treat people especially when most of their staff is from different agencies!! I would have ranked them higher if it wasn''t for the bad experiences with them and hearing how they speak to others by phone and in person. Poor poor customer service in the staffing office.

Levindale is a great place to work! I work there for 4 years and this upcoming year I made a sacrifice to resign. The staff are friendly, the patients are adorable. The kitchen management Team is HORRIBLE and it’s starts with the Manager of the kitchen Angela , the kitchen has suffer majorly due to management and poor decision making of management. I don’t recommend anyone that is looking for dietary work to work under her and her management team.

This review is based on our initial impression, mostly the intake process. My 80 yo mom, who has dementia, had a psychiatric crisis where we ended up in an ER just outside DC. That ER suggested Levindale, and my research indicated Levindale would be the most appropriate place in the region, though other Google reviews made/make me nervous. The intake folks have been thoughtful, and when I dropped off some personal items the facility appeared well maintained, the staff were courteous, and I observed their staff positively interacting with residents in the general population common area (not where my mom will be). It’s obviously not a situation anyone hopes for, and this is really just a review of the intake process, but so far so good given where we were at 36 hours before admittance… I’ll post another review in a couple of weeks based on how things go, though of course not expecting miracles given my mom''s underlying medical issues…
