Horrible the way they treat the elderly. My father went downhill after entering and when I wanted to take care of him in Florida, no one would sign off. The head nurse replied'' you could die on the plane'' they wanted him to stay because of the money, not because they wanted him to get better. Deplorable conditions. He''s been with me 2 days and at least a 180 difference he''s gonna enjoy the rest of life living and not wasting away in there.

CNAs and support staff seem to be doing the best they can. Appears to be poor internal communication (department heads, administration, etc.); consequently, attention to patient''s individual needs is sub-minimal at best, even after requesting changes to deficiencies. Very difficult to communicate with anyone by phone or get a call back, something that is absolutely critical during the pandemic when family cannot visit in person. 50/50 chance that someone will answer the main desk phone; even less if directed to another department. Voice mail boxes on the automated system are not even set up.
