No. Unfortunately, Main Street is not licensed to provide skilled nursing care on-campus. Their services for residents with Alzheimer’s and dementia do not qualify as skilled nursing care, and they are not permitted to provide such types of services on-site. Skilled nursing care is most commonly found at hospitals and nursing homes and it is not usual for an assisted living community to be licensed for such services. 
 
However, the community offers transportation to and from medical appointments, making it easy for residents to access healthcare services when they need it. Residents are welcome to arrange third-party health care services if they need them, but should not expect Main Street to provide skilled nursing care
 

Q: Can I use Medicare to pay for Main Street‘s assisted living options?

No. Medicare will pay for long-term care if it is provided by a health care facility, which does not apply to Main StreetResidents may be able to use their Medicare coverage to pay for certain types of medical long-term care, but they cannot use it to pay for assisted living or memory care for individuals with Alzheimer’s and dementia
