I would recommend Legacy Savannah Quarters, but there are issues, as I guess there are with all facilities. No one cleans or takes care of my mom as I would hope they would. If the resident is incontinent, their laundry needs to be done more often and the aides need to check for wet diapers more often. The Care Coordinator and the nurse are now gone and we've only been there for about three months. It's a pretty place and most of the staff is nice, but there are some grumpy ones.

We visited Legacy at Savannah Quarters. It's a really, really nice place, but it's out of our price range. You can't get any help and you have to pay out of pocket. The staff is good. It's clean. They have a semi-private room, there's a wall between them, and as you go in the door, each one has their bathroom on their side. The staff members were very helpful. They showed us what they had. If you don't like what's on the menu they have other food you can choose from. My mother doesn't eat seafood, so they had another menu that had hamburgers and probably hot dogs. I think the safety of the residents is fine. And then they had also a fire escape room, and so if they had fire, they could get everybody out. With regards to activities, I saw residents sitting in the lobby talking with each other and visiting. They had a big common area. Overall, it was clean.

Legacy Savannah Quarters is great. They are understaffed and at times and overwhelmed but they make do. It's clean, food seems to be delicious. Activities are good. I am very pleased I have recommended them to several people. My mom wants to move to [community name removed] nursing home because after her money runs out, Medicaid will take over her payments. But until then we hope to keep her where she is.
Read moreWe are very happy with everything. Staff is really friendly and helpful answered any questions and took care of any problems quickly. Just got to remember whoever moves in there needs time for adjustment between the person living there and the staff to get used to everything but overall we love it....

Just got to remember whoever moves in there needs time for adjustment between the person living there and the staff to get used to everything but overall we love it.. I have even spoke to people who are looking to move in or have a family member move in and I told them it's a great place.

I left a basket of clothes for laundry, it was picked up, the basket was returned, all the clothes were stolen. I complained, made a list of what was in the basket and no compensation was ever received. Every meal served has as a staple a cheap carbohydrate, either pasta or potatoes, or bread in some form so the food is dramatically overpriced.

It is a beautiful community, very good food/choices, & clean. Read the fine print to understand miscellaneous charges in advance. Also, know that the staff isn't always quick to respond. If your loved one goes into the hospital for any length of time, you will not receive any discounts. I am still due a refund and have been waiting for a couple of months. They also have the option to raise the monthly rates on you so be aware of that as well. Admin team was going through changes. The admin staff would say they would get back to you but if they did it was severely delayed. They have a new Exec Director so hopefully things improved. Care team is nice but not very motivated or quick to respond. There are choices for main meals and snacks. They do charge to bring meals to the rooms so be aware because those charges can add up quickly.
