I would look elsewhere to place your loved one. When it really matters, the staff doesn’t follow important “protocols”, and doesn’t notify the family immediately when an emergency occurs, or notify the family at any point when they become aware a resident is ill and showing signs of decline, atleast in our situation they didn’t. I’d hate for someone to experience what my family did. The woman who works at the front desk is always really friendly, but I would beware of some of the other employees and upper management. Landon Ridge needs major improvements made to their protocols and staff training. RESPONSE TO LR: Leann was aware. Her and the staff told us after the fact that they knew something was wrong and they didn’t contact our family. All the signs were there. They admitted to dropping the ball. I’m sure this wasn’t the first or last time it has happened. You would think atleast after having to call the ambulance they would call us right away - nope. Their apology was moot. 1 year later and I still advise anyone considering placing their loved one here, DON’T.
