What I like best about LakeHouse Sheboygan is the rooms. The least thing I liked (and my mother-in-law's most complaint) is about the food, but it's a good place. It's clean. The carpet's been cleaned. It has stains on it though and they keep saying that they're going to repair the carpeting, but that's one thing that makes it look like it's not clean. They have lots of activities. They are good and really nice ones and the residents are very involved. They have music, exercise, bingo, game shows like a family feud, and contests. Just fun stuff, like when you walk in, some of the residents will ask you a question. Do you have this? They have to find things in the place and I think the residents are quite involved.

Do not send your family member here unless they can take care of themselves. Do not send them here if they have dementia or starting dementia. Too big of a facility and help is not given to all the people that need it. You will end up moving your family member, it's just a matter of time.

We like almost all of the nursing staff & caregivers who work at LakeHouse Sheboygan community. The staff members keep the inside of the community as well as the outside of the community clean and tidy. This community feels like a very safe place for your loved ones to live.

Terrace Place has been a blessing and this community works out best for our family. It is accessible to medical care complexes and you can book an appointment on the shuttle bus in advance to take you to and from the appointments. Terrace Place has been a blessing and this community works out best for our family. It is accessible to medical care complexes and you can book an appointment on the shuttle bus in advance to take you to and from the appointments. It is a larger facility which makes our loved one have to get out and walk to different parts of the community - this had made her strong and have more mobility. They have underground parking which is heated. The apartments are such great size, they have a giant bathroom, a full size kitchen with a full size refrigerator and freezer. They have their own washer and dryer and dishwasher. Cable is included. Our loved one has adjusted very well and while she was adjusting in the beginning the staff were very accommodating. There is always something going on at the community, we like that social aspect of it but the meals are more basic,
