My mother was put in a room and ignored. Except for one of the residents that tormented her. Took her out after 3 days. She was traumatized.
Terribly understaffed.
Great place
I had a great experience during my 4 month stay. Majority of the staff are very caring, wonderful people. The building needs some TLC but it''s kept clean.
I called the State on this facility over 6 yrs ago My original review was deleted by this facility My mother was here for a few months before I removed her by my myself with the head nurse laughing at me as I struggled to put her in my car by myself to take her to a wonderful facility in N Ridgevill...
I called the State on this facility over 6 yrs ago My original review was deleted by this facility My mother was here for a few months before I removed her by my myself with the head nurse laughing at me as I struggled to put her in my car by myself to take her to a wonderful facility in N Ridgeville The few months she was incarcerated here were pure hell - No water available for residents No call button available to residents- my Mom''s was wrapped around her bed at the floor level daily so she couldn''t reach it for assistance No bathing- if she refused it was just let go No encouragement from staff to participate in any activities - although they had very little as required by nursing home law No nothing basically - so I brought the State in THEY TOOK CARE OF IT!

This place deserves a 0 star rating and should be shut down! It''s filthy, the food served to patients is utterly disgusting and the staff do as they please delivering patients meds over 2 hrs late. There is no respect, patience, care or concern for the patients who enter this facility. The counselors are of no help either. Definitely calling human services. Lake Pointe is a pure joke and should be shut down!
