I worked in dietary & recently resigned. I had to! This place was horrible!! If you decide to apply for employment here, just know you will be working in an oppressive environment. As with almost every nursing home, they are always short staffed. Gossip, Drama, & more Gossip! They gossip so much that they literally forget about the residents being there for medical treatment. So much so, that I was serving breakfast & no aid would pass trays so I decided to myself to get residents feed in a timely manner. Upon entering a resident''s room I found a resident dead on his floor. I alerted the floor nurse & nurse aids, & they claimed they never even knew that the resident was even admitted. They pulled the charts, & found out he was admitted the afternoon before. Apparently, after admitting him and putting him in his room, they never went back to check on him or give him his meds and he sadly passed away. This is ridiculous! One resident was so neglected that he told me that he was ready to call the police because he hadn''t been to the bathroom, eaten, or drunken anything, or had any meds since the 5:30 pm the night before during dinner time. 😟 Please DO NOT send your loved ones here. There was an CNA (male) that was so drunk, he was slurring his words, and visibly off balance, but yet they still had him on the clock. Another CNA (male) was on the phone instead of tending to residents trying to convince someone to have sex with him. You will hear all about baby daddy/baby mama drama through out the halls because that''s all they seem to care about. Not the residents! The ONLY time you will see this place ran like an actual healthcare facility is when state is there. The ED is very rude & racist. If she is short staffed, she will tell you to either overwork yourself with what ever she assigns you to do, or be fired. Truth be told, she needs to be fired & investigated. They have lost many good employees, myself included, because they want you to falsely documents, or do something that''s not in your job description. Some people actually have values and refused to do it & were fired or resigned. I could go on & on but you get the picture. Don''t waste your time applying here for employment, & PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE''S HERE!

All I can say is if your loved one is at a facility make sure you are there also. They are busy and what D.O.N. Lee said they could provide only came through when we got loud. We we under the impression they were a nursing care facility. There staff is only as good as the applicants they hire and we all know health care workers and care facilities are not what they use to be. When are son was there this week for a short stay due to us needing to get him out of there the best answer I got for something he could use to vomit in was “we can get him a clean urinal, we don’t have those bags they have at a hospital !” That was the answer I got from the unit coordinator ~ I said seriously. I let him vomit in a towel. Which were few and far between. God Bless the residence. The positive of the facility was nurse Sara and the new grad nurse her name started with an S. They dropped the ball on so many things they said they could provide. So needless to say this “rehab facility” didn’t meet the needs of our son who required more care than they could provide.
