I think the thing I appreciate most about our experience with Kindred on Flamingo was the kindness expressed from the staff, consistently and continually. It was on display from the moment we walked in to tour the facility in consideration for our mother''s long term acute care. Setting the tone was Patient Advocate, Debbie Cochran - we immediately took to her kindness and attentiveness. She always always always followed through with anything asked or suggested. Noreen at reception always greeted us with friendly professionalism. Every doctor, specialist, nurse and aid was gracious, patient and attentive. The facility is older but we always found it to be clean and well maintained. Illness and recovery is a taxing journey, for the patient and for their loved ones, and I got the sense that everyone at Kindred understands that and respects that.

The patient advocate is so nice and I always enjoy when she comes to see me.
