Transitioning to assisted living is challenging for the person and the family members who are responsible for making those decisions. The folks at Bloom at Kessler have been fantastic to work with. Attentive, understanding, and compassionate all while working with the resident to help them get acclimated to their new home. I have really been impressed with how friendly and happy everyone at Bloom seems to be from the staff to the residents and families. It has been refreshing and gives me a sense of peace knowing that my family member is in a place with so much positive energy. I am confident he is where he needs to be.

Kesslerwood Place was excellent. The facility was warm, inviting, charming, and beautiful. The staff I spoke with was very caring, empathetic, and really went above and beyond to help me and help guide the situation. They were excellent. They have events, scheduled activities for residents, and social areas within the facility for social activities. They have a courtyard that's lovely and people could visit out there and spend time outdoors. It's secure. They require a code to exit, so I liked that feature. You know that they have an eye on your loved one, and also that they couldn't just wander off and be in danger. They provide whatever level of care is necessary. They have all the meals provided. The apartments are nice with a small kitchenette, bathroom, a room for the bedroom, and sitting area, which is all in one. They have a lovely wraparound porch. So, if people want to go out to the porch, it's a nice touch of the community.

We toured Kesslerwood Place. They had good amenities. They're a nice place, but it's just farther from our house up to the north side, and it's not an easy way to get there. The staff I met was great. They have a hair salon, a movie theater, and kitchens and kitchenettes up there that they could use. In terms of location though, there is nothing around it, but it looked clean when we walked through it.
