Kerner Ridge Assisted Living was clean and comfortable. Overall, I was happy with the staff, but when it was under the new ownership, my mother did not receive appropriate medical care resulting in her need to be moved to skilled nursing. She had this huge sore on her. The food was better though. There were two dining areas. One was for residents who were more social and then there was an overflow for residents who needed more attention. They also had activities. I remember my mom was involved in their virtual Sunday worship and Bible study. There's also a table set up for puzzles. They play ball tossing, bingo, and doing crafts. Their price was comparable to the other ones. One very nice amenity they had was that pets were welcomed as visitors. I would bring in my mom's dog all the time, and they enjoyed that.

My Uncle Jim, helped in his living now by my brother and me, Is a resident. My brother and I are there frequently and have come to know a great number of their staff. Each and all are wonderful people. They are all there, from Ms. Cole-Hill (Executive Director), to management staff, to nurses and nurse aides, to kitchen staff, with a smile on their faces for the residents. It's a sight to behold. Really. Uncle Jim is 91 now. He's quite happy. We're all quite happy and most impressed.

This is a great facility. Thanks for the tour. As most facilities such as this, the cost always turns out to be the bottom line. At this time I am still able to care for my wife, and it would be great if I could be able to do that all the way to the end. I do not have insurance that covers the use of this facility, so I must access everything I can should I have to move her into this facility. That would be savings, Medicare, etc. Kerner Ridge is my first choice should it become necessary, primarily because it is close, and a great place. Thanks again for the tour....
