It starts with a phone call. I’m in the beginning steps. I’m sure they are aware of negative reviews. But at least the kindness after my call was what I needed to inquire further.
I visited about 8 places. This is close to the hospital and her doctors. It has a nice layout around a courtyard. It's the right scale for her; some of the places I visited were just too big or the rooms or apartments were too large and I was worried about her navigating them.

Residents are charged based on different levels of care and ensuring your loved one is property evaluated is important. Terrific grounds keeper/maintenance staff and very accommodating dietician. The head nurse is amazing.

Once my loved one passed away, I had no desire to be completely alone and was wanting a place with good programs and good food! Also, a place where I would feel safe and I could just be "me." I knew I couldn't stay alone any longer in my home, and I entrusted my daughter to choose a place for me. Katella Senior Living is my new home and I wouldn't have it any other way.
